This is based loosely on an analyzing the name, attempting to spot randomly generated Brand names, which is a common tactic, false positives are a possibility of course.

The Snooze Tabs browser add-on is a key technology I use for category 2, defending focus (and prioritizing) from my previous post (link in footer).
I noted in the #indieweb informal cafe chat that "I am going to snooze the tab for a month and re-evaluate then" (about purchasing a potentially focus-enhancing electronic device), and was asked how do I snooze a tab for a month.

I noted the Snooze Tabs browser extension does this, i.e. one-click to snooze a tab for
* later today
* tomorrow morning
* the weekend
* a week from now
* a month from now
* or a custom date and time
I have used it for years and as someone who opens LOTS of tabs, it has been essential for quickly closing tabs (for now) that are not my current (now, today, this week) priority.
A few regular use-cases which are all one-click from my Firefox toolbar:
* snooze work-related tabs until the next day, when I'm wrapping up work for the day
* snooze personal projects tabs until the weekend
* snooze lower priority work-task related tabs for a week
* snooze product tabs for a month when I want to wait (procrastinate) to see if I still want/need an item that seemed interesting in the moment
One key use-case I have which I have to set manually:
* snooze work-related tabs to Monday when it’s the weekend
There is an issue to swap the "next weekend" menu item to "next weekday" when it’s the weekend which would be a nice improvement:

This add-on is a good example of open source that “just works” even if its source code repository has not seen recent activity.
It’s also a good example of “good enough” rather than perfect.
If I get around to it, I may explore what it would take to help resolve issues, commit code, and do another release, at least to make progress on that one issue.
For now however, I am snoozing that GitHub tab for a month.

I don't see a big reason why you would use that on mobile phones with good emoji pickers already, but, heck, theoretically even my #AwesomeEmojiPicker extension is compatible with Firefox for Android now!😅

Try a #browseraddon (like https://github.com/shevabam/get-rss-feed-url-extension) that picks up #RSS feeds from the page you visit.
You can subscribe to most #Wordpress sites, a lot of news sites and so on. Use it while browsing your favorite sites and be surprised.
Go to a #YouTube channel's homepage and rip the RSS feed, subscribe to any channel without a #Google account. #degoogle your life!
Use openrss.org to turn almost any page into an RSS feed.

Honestly struggling with #Chrome's Manifest V3 limitations regarding its background script. Can't get any long-lived processes working, and managing hydration of states during suspension and wake up is troublesome as #serviceworkers don't fire events for this.
I'm honestly afraid that I'll just have to fall back and get the browser extension to rely on the desktop app.. And this really defeats all the strides @buttercup has made with its browser extension being its own application. Don't want to do it but I'm seeing no other *reliable* way.
Anyone else out there building #browserextensions hitting this road block? Would really appreciate any words of encouragement or suggestions as to what to do here..

My add-on Mastodon Auto-Remote-Follow has been renamed to the shorter snappier name "Mastodon – Simplified Federation!" and is now available in v0.5.
Also supports the new "Mastodon remote interactions" that are still available in not yet released Mastodon versions. (test on mastodon.social)
