For #FungiFriday I thought I’d share a picture of this interesting little #mushroom I found growing at #BrownCounty #StatePark in June 2010. According to my apps, this appears to be in the Genus Strobilomyces, which some call “Old Man of the Woods.” It’s a type of bolete in which the cap and stipe are covered in soft hairy or woolly scales.
