The color is brown, but I'd say it's more of a mahogany brown, as red appears to have seeped in a bit to give it a slightly nicer color than the straight brown

It's brown, but I would say it is closer to cherry wood brown. As you can see from the pictures, it was not shy about foaming

Malty cherry lead with bourbon notes and a slightly tart finish.
Ruby red color and a creamy head! Gift from the kids, I love their BA finds outside my usual space! -
First sip is pretty nice. The nuts are mixing with some light spices and the malt is kind of... not creamy exactly, but it's like a very light syrup in that it's smooth and silky.

Had a #BlackListBeer FCK Ship Brown Booty and was disappointed. Marshmallow sugary flavor but flat and lifeless body. Would not repeat.

It’s #friyay but no #stout today. Gotta see if I should transition to lighter brews.
Verdict: I should NOT.
#BaldmanBrewing is hometown craft from just down the road in MN. #tupeloHoney #brownAle is a solid brown, malty and light, but I’m not getting much from the honey. Mildly sweet but likely not a repeat.

So it occurred to me the other day that I hadn’t had a #Newcastle #BrownAle in quite some time. Looking at various stores’ websites, it appears to no longer be sold in central Texas.
Apparently it is also now brewed in America for the American market and the recipe is different.
I fear that I may not be able to go home again, as they say.

Zuerst hat es mich an ein ordinäres Münchner Dunkel erinnert. Aber tatsächlich schmecke ich das Karamell in diesem #BrownAle als buttriges Toffee heraus.
