I have seen several single-color Cybertrucks in the wild in Brooklyn. However, until December 20, 2024, I had never seen a company-branded Cybertruck on the road (or in this case, parked).

I saw a Tesla Cybertruck parked at Brooklyn Bridge Park. That same week, I read a post criticizing the design of the Cybertruck and offering many unfavorable comparisons. While my sentiments about the Cybertruck's design are not too far out of step with those of the post, I had my own comparison in mind. When I see a Cybertruck, I think of the first car racing game I owned: Virtua Racing Deluxe for the Sega 32X.
