It has helped me to crystallize my own thinking about so called #aibubbleLet's dispense with the obvious first, the author is anonymous and his previous work deals with water and land rights as investment vehicle.
I don't think he is a quant, but a holder of short positions in NVIDIA and other #hyperscaler exposed assets. Hammer looking for nails.
The reason I say this is because his analysis is fundamentally flawed. Only five data points, two of which are inferred. At second derivative the noise of this poor data set gets amplified quadratically.
His thesis will nevertheless hold for a while.
So he can be "right" until he isn't.
As Keynes said "Markets can remain irrational longer than you can remain solvent"Where any forest folk prayer for AI collapse falls apart is this; the promise of AI is replacement of all intellectual labour forever. In addition to which, the #broligarch "Networked state" AND Authoritarian statists all rely on AI as a control substrate.
The use of "markets" to measure AI is a fiction.
You're measuring with a ruler that flexes.
When #capitalism failed in 2008, it was bailed out by 13 trillion dollars globally of socialism (people's money) in the "too big to fail" fiasco.Individual investors may get wiped out (and your pension fund), but AI is not going away.
