A cracking 6hr trip on ‘Kelly’s Hero’ around Lyme Bay, yesterday.
Highlights were Risso’s & Common Short-beaked Dolphin, Harbour Porpoise, Great Skua, Arctic Skua along with more usual species.
Particularly pleased with the Arctic as it proves I can find more than just Storm Petrel 😂
Good fun as well with good company.

A fab. 6 hour trip in Lyme Bay, #Devon onboard Kelly's Hero. Highlights were great views of European Storm Petrel, a raft of at least 120 Manx Shearwater as well as a Sunfish & Gannet. Great company too.

So first week of my holidays over and the weather was very... British. It was nice to get away but the long driving and lack of sunshine took a toll.
The second week I'll likely work on projects, play some retro games and go out with family if the rain stops!

"Water firm fined £1.8m over parasite outbreak"
Sorry, but this is completely inadequate. People were seriously harmed.
And it's not the "firm" that gets fined. The firm isn't a person. It's the shareholders that get fined. That's probably you and me, via our pension funds.
We weren't the ones who let people drink contaminated water. That would be the South West Water directors.
The directors should have been fined personally. Or jailed. That would be a more meaningful deterrent.

Rehearsals are coming along for The Scarlet Pimpernel.
Wednesday was a fantastic evening of workshopping scenes, the dance choreography for the Princess of Wales’ ball, created by Sophia, and the final fight between Chauvelin & Sir Percy during the mob storming the prison.
Our cast worked their socks off, and this is going to look absolutely incredible.
Meantime the costume team are putting things together for the cast, and the costume designs are absolutely stunning.

On Monday we were thrilled to bring some of our amazing actors to perform excerpts of Jekyll & Hyde to Brixham Good Companions at Brixham United Reformed Church. Jan, who owns the cafe Flour Flower, sent these pictures she grabbed of some of our actors, and sent this wonderful feedback screenshotted as well.
While as a rule we only do full scale performances, we do take two or three excerpt performances to local community charities to help show what we do, and Brixham Good Companions is one of our regular stops in this list.
