Just updated my U.S. shipping graphic on ALL of my listings to say:

"U.S. Shipping is currently unavailable due to the 50% tariff on Canadian goods from the U.S. government.

When shipping from Canada, all tariffs must be paid up front. I'm unable to cover the extra cost, and I cannot ethically pass it on to my U.S. customers by raising prices.”

That's it. That's the story. I'm so angry.

I have zero orders in queue at the shop. First time since the post Christmas lull.

This is going to be my new norm with all of the U.S. tariff uncertainty and trade changes happening in the UK and EU.

Trade is unbelievable difficult right now. Well, if you want to do it legally… and I do.

Oh, the intense irony of having to renew my CUSMA certificates for all the items I sell and export (well, exported*) into the United States (called the USMCA in the U.S.).

I cannot export anymore because of the trade dispute - a 50% tariffs on many Canadian goods is going into effect on August 19th. All of my items are considered various forms of plastics, and all HTS codes I use are now being severely tariffed.

You can do everything right as a small business and still fail because of issues entirely outside of your control.

* I'm still shipping within Canada, but nowhere else internationally due to many packages having to go through the U.S. to get overseas - I'm not dealing with it.

Also - if anyone within the EU (and UK) would like to volunteer to help me navigate the convoluted import laws, I’d consider opening my shop to shop there.

So far, over the past year I’ve just taken direct orders and handled customs myself with the customer paying VAT/fees when picking up the parcel.

The Tariff codes I’ve been using to import fidget toys into the U.S. will be null and void as of July 8th.

I will have to raise my shipping/tariff fees to cover the Trump tax. (Roughly, 10-15% per item) I cannot absorb this cost.

Apologies in advance to anyone living in the U.S. who wants to order from my shop. I'm so sorry.

General update:
--> Base shipping: Increased to $20 CAD for U.S.-bound orders.
—> $2-$4 in tariff and broker fees PER ITEM will now have to be added at checkout to cover the costs I have to pay to get a package to you.

This now means I will no longer be able to extend the code MASTO20 to U.S.-based customers.

Which one do you like better? Circle die cut (right) or contour die cut (left)? They both have ‘easy peel’ edges because accessibility matters. :blobbear_heart:
