Now they plan to hand over Mt Coot-tha to developers to build tourist zip lines and “glamping” and build a “Singapore” style city n the mountain. Destroying the Gold and Sunshine Coasts, concreting over Victoria Park was never going to be enough for them.
Fck the locals, they can choke on the smog and drown in the worsening floods.

I was never that keen on sport but Schrinner can’t bail out after being all gung ho two years ago when he was on the Olympic bid committee. It was a joint bid by the feds, the State government and the BCC. Bloody typical game playing of the Libs to spit the dummy now.
In 2021 he said: ‘Some of the existing venues would need to be expanded or renovated, but Mr Schrinner said it was "a relatively small gap in the scheme of things".’
The Gabba stadium rebuild was always on the cards. See the two year brouhaha about closing the East Brisbane school.
The LNP was arguing very recently that Queensland should take the Commonwealth Games and the Olympic Games so they can quit with the tantrums that it’s all too hard now.
Brisbane needs to elect a mayor and Brisbane City Council that will quit playing politics and get on with it.
