For those of you following along at home, the MRI machine broke just before I got my contrast IV installed. So they sent me home to reschedule. Grateful it didn't break while I was in there with the contrast (I had that happen a decade or so ago). OTOH: really pleased with #Readimask once I practiced donning it, so there's that. And: saw one mask (besides me) in the entire place. Sigh. #MGH system must #BringBackUniversalMaskingInHealthcare #CovidIsAirborne #CovidIsNotOver

Definitely a learning curve donning #Readimask correctly. Glad I practiced. That first one is a write-off haha. Now hoping I don it well enough at the MRI place. Well, even if not perfect, it will be a lot better protection than the stupid floppy blue surgical they'd give me there if I asked for a mask. #WearARespirator #CovidIsNotOver #CovidIsAirborne #BringBackUniversalMaskingInHealthcare

MRI tomorrow afternoon & have to fast 4 hours beforehand. Plan to occupy myself by practicing with the Readimask I’m going to wear in the tube, & contemplating what I will eat & drink afterwards.
