Years ago my Mom encouraged me to apply my clay work to dead lightbulbs turning them into ornaments. We figure this has saved thousands of light bulbs from landfill over the years. Thanks Mom, for this bright idea! 💡

yesterday I punctured a tire and had to change it, under the rain, while we all were tired after 2 hours of ballet (!) and very late for lunch.
This obviously resulted in a shoutfest between me, my wife, the kids, various catholic saints and many curses brought on the automobile industry who somehow didn't manage to standardize where the fuck the car jack is supposed to go.
Still, it worked out, my kids learned something perhaps, and later I had some very good dandan noodles.

Judging from the UK style variable #weather, I'd say northern #Italy might be heading for one of the coolest Julys on record. Usually it's unbroken sun and torrid heat at this time of year. Still, lack of water is not an issue! #ClimateChange #brightside

Decided this morning was for making dice keychains. I give them away as freebies in most of my shop orders, but I figured... people would probably happily pay £1 for them at the Christmas fayres I'm doing next month. So yeah, hopefully they'll sell. And if not... I'm stocked up on a freebie? #brightside

CW: #NZPol Happy Thoughts
While not the outcome I was hoping (or voted) for, there were a few bright spots for me.
1) CHLÖE! Retaining Auckland Central
2) Greens now have 14 seats in parliament
3) Te Pātī Māori have 4 seats
4) Almost half the population of the country voted! Once you take out the citizens younger than voting age, that seems like a really good turn out! -
A near full 9 carriage train has just emptied onto a 7 carriage local train already half full of passengers.
The result is more or less what you'd expect.
I have found a seat on a baggage rack, which does at least allow me to read a paper I am reviewing.
I am missing my tight connection but bizarrely the next train, a full hour later, gets me into NL only 20 mins later than the planned route... 🤷♀️
And at least there will be time for lunch at Hamburg.
