Pour la première fois, j'ai commencé un tome de Saga en ayant des doutes après avoir lu quelques avis mitigés ou négatifs. Mais, au final, j'ai apprécié ma lecture même si j'ai ressenti un peu de lassitude et de frustration. J'ai l'impression qu'on est dans un creux au niveau de la narration. Impression que j'avais déjà eu lors du tome précédent.

Just finished reading the last two TPBs of the Paper Girls comic. Excellent arc. Finishing up the book series made me so unhappy that the TV series didn't make it. Netflix? No, Amazon. It wasn't a great show, but there's enough story that it could've grown into a good show. Re-reading the first four in the set and I'm catching a lot of what I didn't the first time through.

#VendrediLecture (ça faisait longtemps), je lis le tome 11 de #Saga - c'est toujours une de mes séries de comics favoris de tous les temps. Je suis tellement heureuse de retrouver les splendides dessins de #FionaStaples et l'univers dingue de Sci-Fantasy de #BrianKVaughan. Le T10 finissait sur un vrai moment brise-cœur et la première page de celui là nous remet un coup dans les émotions avant de replonger dans les galères d'Alana et de sa famille.

There was an amazing graphic novel series from #BrianKVaughan called Barrier that centers around people attempting to cross the US-Mexico border, with those from either side of the border only speaking their own language. So if the reader only speaks one of the languages, they kind of get the same experience as the characters, having to figure out purely from context and visual cues what is being said. It's quite brilliant.
