Finally watched #Escapade, a #QuinnMartin production meant to be an Americanized version of #TheAvengers. Awful. Good leads in Morgan Fairchild and Granville van Dusen (very cool name for an actor, better than Bradford Dillman), wasted with other things not clicking into place. #TV #USA #BrianClemens

At the time Brian Clemens' tough gritty violent British TV spy series The Professionals attracted a lot of attention and some outrage. The 1979 3rd season is pretty strong with just one dud episode. Stylish and action-packed.

A look at three episodes, all originally aired in 1973, from Brian Clemens’ horror anthology series Thriller, one of the finest ever TV series of its type. The Colour of Blood is excellent while Murder in Mind and A Place to Die are very good.

I’ve always found this a fascinating “What if” curio - an unsold US pilot for a take on #TheAvengers (#Steed & #MrsPeel variety) starring the always elegant and watchable #MorganFairchild ♥️ and written/produced by Avenger-man #BrianClemens. It didn’t go to series but it's still better than the #RalfFiennes movie!
