I’ve missed about 6 months of being here… that’s partly because I have a new job and am moving house, from Brechin, Angus in the north-east of Scotland, to the Highlands, and that has taken a lot of energy - and my wife has a new job in the Highlands too!
But our house is now for sale, and we are looking to relocate in the coming months, and so things might calm down a little bit. I’m starting next week, staying temporarily with one of my new colleagues until we can find something more permanent.
Meanwhile if anyone is interested in a lovely big old period #house in Brechin, do get in touch!

We live in #Brechin, which has been severely affected by Storm #Babet, though we are fortunate enough to live on a hill and not near the river. We did go and deliver supplies to the school today, where those evacuated from their homes have been put up.
Please, oil and gas corporations, tell us again how #ClimateChange isn’t really that important or urgent. We need a #GreenTransition to address the #ClimateEmergency.
