7 weeks since my DIEP reconstruction. 11+ years since mastectomy+chemo+silicone implant.
It's the first time since the cancer that my upper body has felt right! Seems that the weight and 'wrongness' of the silicone had a disproportionate impact.
Looking forward to how it feels when properly healed in 9ish months!
