  1. "We live in a country where if you want to go bomb somebody, there’s remarkably little discussion about how much it might cost, even though the costs almost inevitably end up being orders of magnitude larger than anybody projected at the outcome. But when you have a discussion about whether or not we can assist people who are suffering, then suddenly we become very, you know, cost-conscious.” – Vietnam veteran and fellow Gold Star dad U.S. Army Col. (Ret.) Andrew Bacevich

  2. Concerns are rising in South Korea’s financial and legal sectors that abolishing the breach of trust law could create loopholes for sophisticated corporate self-dealing, as civil litigation remains ineffective in curbing white-collar crime.

  6. @Rasta #Cons are killing our healthcare. Con premiers are in #DerelictionOfDuty and should be charged with #BreachOfTrust. It is up to the federal government to establish our national healthcare, but it is up to the provinces to deliver on these programs, together with the funding they receive from the federal government. Instead conservative provinces are fast tracking privatization. They could care less about Canadians. And how does our #CdnMedia react? “ Oh look, bellybutton lint!”

  7. I am sick to death of #PierrePoilievre & his constant attacks. Never once offering solutions to the problems he claims we are suffering from in Canada. Never once offering proof to substantiate his slanderous claims. Other than the standard slogan #WeWillFixIt. And of course, always laying the blame on the federal govt when in fact, the problem is more often than not, #DerelictionOfDuty by provincial premiers who should be charged with #BreachOfTrust. #EnoughIsEnough. #NeverVoteConservative.

  8. @WJBL @gemelliz #PMJT The message must be made clear as to what the responsibilities of each level of government are. Federal may enact the policies, but it is the provincial premiers who are responsible for delivering on the policies, like healthcare, education, immigration, etc. #Con premiers and head honcho #MapleMAGA, the #SeducedStooge of #ChairmanHarper don’t want you to know. #BreachOfTrust #NakedAbuseOfPower #DerelictionOfDuty

  9. @demerara Federal government normally establishes national policies, ex. Healthcare, pharmacare, $10 / day daycare etc. It is up to the provincial premiers to deliver on Canadian policies. Provincial premiers who don’t, are in #DerelictionOfDuty and practising #BreachOfTrust towards the citizens that elected them so that they would enact these policies for the benefit of Canadians.

  10. @EricLawton #DougFord is an ex-drug dealing high school graduate with no higher education. What did we expect? 57% decided it wasn’t important to vote so they let 18% give Doug Ford a majority government. And then Ontario complained about the #MostCorruptGovernmentInTheHistoryOfCanada? It’s hard to be sympathetic. We gave Doug & his minions power over us. Maybe in the next election, all voters will choose to vote. #DerelictionOfDuty #BreachOfTrust #NakedAbuseOfPower

  11. @rad #DougFord is a consummate a**hole who does not give a sh*t about his responsibility to Ontario citizens. He was given a majority by 18% of the eligible voters b/c 57% decided not to vote, so who is to blame for his arrogant and disgusting #BreachOfTrust towards Ontario? His destruction of healthcare? Maybe next election, #GoVote.

  12. Just in case anyone is still unaware, there are distinct responsibilities between the provincial and the federal governments. It is the provincial government premiers that are failing the people of Canada by, not delivering on their responsibilities. It is a #BreachOfTrust and there should be consequences!

  13. @CBCNews #CBCNewsroom HEADLINE: America Votes !!! It’s really a shame that the Canadian broadcasting company doesn’t pay as much attention to Canadian politics as it does to the states. You’d swear we’re American. #EnoughIsEnough. Can we please focus on news of our Canadian politics and the scandalous vile behaviour of some of the conservatives, including their leader, and the #BreachOfTrust being practised by our provincial premiers, who are slowly destroying our healthcare.

  14. @shamjiadil @fordnation #DougFord and his corrupt coterie of acolytes should be prosecuted for #BreachOfTrust. As premier of the beautiful problems of Ontario, he has looted, pillaged, destroyed social programs, and multiplied hardships for citizens struggling to make ends meet. But privatization, booze, gaming, all those are priorities in Doug Ford’s landscape. And of course, stuffing his pockets.

  15. @soc_i_ety @the5thColumnist @CanadianCrone #IStandWithJustinTrudeau and always have. Not b/c he’s PET’s son but for who he is. I’m disappointed in his govt now b/c it does not seem willing to push back strongly enough on federal conservative BS and provincial conservative #DerelictionOfDuty and #BreachOfTrust. Cdns are suffering cruel hardships, especially in healthcare & #Cons are encroaching more and more on children and women’s rights. Our current govt seems loath to stop it.

  16. @gemelliz The colossal ineptitude of the #FordGovernment, the ease with which they lie, the glibness with which they engage in #BreachOfTrust towards the electorate, is absolutely mind-boggling. Their contempt and #CriminalDerelictionOfDuty is all pervasive. There is not one single department that is not swimming in corruption, back room dealing, grifting, patronage, cronyism. And #CanadianMediaFailsMiserably in its role, acting as a mouthpiece for corporate entities rather than our advocate.

  17. @gemelliz @citynews And I guess Staples will have to make sure they stay in business and successful as a retail company so they can keep their doors open for Service Ontario. The incredibly #CriminallyCorruptFordGovernment just keeps making these backroom deals, one after the other. Ford’s #BreachOfTrust. Is absolutely mind-boggling. And #CanadianMediaFailsMiserably in advocating for citizens.
