@christineburns Ah, you know the territory a bit. #Bray was Victorian glory which had turned to shit by the time I was at school there in the early 70s. All peeling paint and sleazy amusement arcades. Not so much faded glory as crumbled.

I developed more of a taste for it when I campaigned there for my pal Liam in the Nov 82 election. I liked the people.

Now there is money in Bray again. But if you don't have the contrasting memories of its worst days, it's probably just damp Victoriana.
