"女性はBPO（放送倫理・番組向上機構）の放送人権委員会に、この番組を通した人権侵害について申し立てを行いました。2023年7月18日、BPOは「人権侵害は認められず、放送倫理上の問題もあるとまでは言えないと判断した」と発表しました。
決定理由の中で、BPOは「表現内容に着目して放送局の責任を問うことは表現の自由に対する制約につながりうるので、人権侵害ありとの判断には謙抑的であるのが妥当である。本件番組では眉をひそめたくなるような言動もあるが、人権侵害に当たる言動があったとは認められない」と裁決しました。
2016年までBPOの委員を務めた東京大学大学院情報学環教授の林香里さんは、この決定に強い違和感を抱き、原告を支援するとの立場を表明しました。
