Boyfriend on Demand is a 2026 fable about love in the age of virtual reality. FL Mi-rae (played by Jisoo from k-pop mega group Blackpink) is an artistic director at a webtoon company. Mi-rae is single in the wake of her previous relationship imploding. Now her ex Kim Se-jun (Kim Sung-cheol) has announced his engagement to another girl.
Mi-rae puts in long hours at her job to distract herself from the heartache, and has no time for dating.

I started another show with a slightly similar premise to #BoyfriendOnDemand, #APracticalGuideToLove. It's a webtoon adaptation, so it has some of those bizarre elements, but it's pretty fun and interesting. Not sure if I'm currently in the mood for #StillShining, if it's similar to those other shows. I'll probably wait a little longer to see what others say.
I enjoy watching some #kdrama while it's currently airing, like #PhantomLawyer, but not all of it.

I’ve finished this #Kdrama, and I liked it a lot. Even if it revolves around an absolutely fictional technology, the story is nice and flows smoothly. Also, thanks to Ji-Soo, who is super good in her role of Seo Mi-Rae. She is lovely and very expressive.
The ending is also nice. I feared the worst at the end of ep. 9, when Kyeong-Nam made a shocking discovery. But ep. 10 fixed everything for a beautiful and romantic ending! ☺️
Thus, Kyeong-Nam can enter Mi-Rae’s BoD and see himself reflected in the lake with the appearance of Mi-Rae. Ahh, so cool tech! 🤣

#BoyfriendonDemand finie. Avec un tel sujet, ça aurait pu facilement tourner au drame social en abordant les dangers d'une addiction à un monde virtuel semblant plus séduisant que la vraie vie mais ça préfère rester sur le mode romance et honnêtement, ça le fait très bien donc je me plaindrai pas. J'ai même versé ma petite larmichette à la fin. Oui oui. Bravo #Jisoo . Son personnage m'a pas mal parlé dans ses angoisses à préférer esquiver les relations sentimentales de peur de souffrir.
Je ne suis plus qu'à un épisode de finir chacune de ces 2 #kdrama

Ces derniers temps, me suis pas mal mis aux #kdramas et j'ai d'abord cherché la présence de #Jisoo avec #snowdrop et #newtopia , puis comme vous l'avez compris, me suis ensuite tourné vers #Bibi avec #theworstofevil et le #film #hopeless .
Actuellement, me suis démarré #boyfriendondemand et #gangnambside . L'un avec Jisoo et le second avec Bibi. Et le moins que je puisse dire c'est qu'avec ces 2 artistes, c'est vraiment 2 salles 2 ambiances.
I'm currently forbidden from watching Snowdrop without my daughter so guess I'll start the other Jisoo show.

I watched the first three episodes of the #Kdrama #BoyfriendOnDemand, and even though it’s a rather imaginative scenario, I liked it.
What I found surprising is that Ji-Soo is really good (and cute) in her role [disclaimer: I’m not a fan of Blackpink].
Some of her expressions also reminded me of another lovely actress, Kim Ji-Eun (the Mo-Eum in Love Next Door). I mean, I noticed a certain resemblance.
This was so enjoyable! The first two episodes are a bit cheesy, but starting from ep 3 it really took off.
#Jisoo 's acting has improved significantly and the chemistry between #SeoInGuk and her is top notch.
It's a must watch if you're looking for something light and funny but not too silly. Topics like loneliness, social and work exhaustion are interestingly approached.
The VR dating set would be a hit if it existed for real!
