Facebook rimanda l'imposizione di nuove condizioni d'uso orwelliane agli utenti non protetti dal GDPR. Milioni di utenti, me compreso, hanno dimostrato che anche l'azienda più potente della storia non ha più potere di quello che le danno i suoi clienti. Io continuerò il mio boicottaggio di WhatsApp, che aggiungo a quello di Facebook, per poi completare con Instagram. Perché una coscienza critica ci tutela più del GDPR, e protegge anche gli altri, non solo noi. #BoycottWhatsapp #BoycottFB

Mi preparo con un risponditore automatico al blocco del mio account Whatsapp, che scatterà l'8 febbraio quando mi rifiuterò di aderire ai nuovi termini di servizio nonostante Whatsapp abbia preso in ostaggio una larga parte dei miei contatti.

I "sequestrati" interessati a restare in contatto con me possono liberarsi da soli raggiungendomi su Signal.

Da qui all'8 febbraio chi mi cerca verrà automaticamente edotto su come contattami quando uscirò dal Facebookverso.

Una conversazione significativa sul #BoycottWhatsapp. Non siamo obbligati a migrare tutti su Signal. Ma è bene che lo faccia chi può, chi non è in ostaggio dei social commerciali, chi ha meno legami lavorativi e personali con loro. Chi va fuori aiuterà chi è costretto a restare dentro, creando un ecosistema elettronico più aperto e meno monopolizzato.
