What makes this entire shitshow 1000% more absurd is that the council member who started this bill (criminilaizing public drug use) is Sara Nelson. Owner of Fremont Brewing, one of the largest bars & brewery in Seattle. Which of course features tons of space for the public consumption of drugs.
But you see home owners drink beer publicly. That's OK. But if a homeless person does it? That's an offense that the cops can now be called over!
