CW: Mass shootings
I’ve held a gun. I’ve shot a gun. I’ve shot a high caliber rifle. I’m not against hunting. I have friends who live in remote parts of Canada and have had a moose charge them.
But over time, I’ve rethought everything I think about who should have guns, where they should be kept, and how we should be able to handle them — because of all the senseless death I’ve seen, personally and professionally.

As many of you did yesterday, I watched as a tightly knit Chinese-American/Taiwanese-American/Hongkongese-American community in #MontereyPark, Calif., was rocked by a #MassShooting.

Alright, #Boston Fediverse. Settle a small debate between husband and me. If you’ve been watching the #weather, you know what’s supposedly coming Friday. Well, the movers are *supposed* to bring what little furniture/possessions we had from our last place to our new place (the 2nd floor walk-up with the twisty stairs) Friday morning.
I say, in light of the impending #noreaster, it’s not happening.
