@Starcade Yeah, I saw that game & the #BoSox vs the #Yankees game on #ESPN but neither game held any interest for me. 🤷‍♂️

Also didn't mind "missing" the #Niners vs #Chargers because according to the box score o starters played in that game. 😎

The only thing of possible interest to me in that game would have been to see what Trey Lance did but he only played for 3 possessions in the 1st quarter, threw 5 of 8 for just 38 yrds w/no TDs or INTs w/a rating of 74.

So, doesn't seem that Lance has come any farther since being cut by the Niners & the #Cowboys. 🤷‍♂️

1) Devers was very diplomatic in his response to questions about how he felt about leaving Boston, refusing too pour gas on the fire by saying negative about the #BoSox.

2) Devers will be starting in the 3 spot as the DH but he said he'll play any position that management in SF wants him to play, which includes 1st base.

3) Melvin said they start him with some reps at 3rd& will then give him some reps at 1st which they'll do gradually since he hasn't had any infield play time this year at 3rd (which was his regular position) & because he has never played 1st.

This is an interesting transformation in perspective for Devers from Boston to SF.

What happens to Flores & Smith if Devers takes over 1st is a big question? 🤔

Whisenhunt in AAA Sac is also being mentioned as a possibility at 1st, even tho he's a pitcher.

Posey was asked about Whisenhunt & said that Devers aware of this but wouldn't say any more about it. 🤷‍♂️

@serpicojam @emarktaylor Not a #BoSox fan, and am totally blind so can't see for myself, but from the image descriptions given by Joe Castigleon on the #BoSox radio broadcast, the unis have no red in them, which makes no sense.
