"An access denied error when trying to access the C:\ drive is certainly a bad day for Windows users. The C:\ drive is usually assigned to the first bootable disk partition and is where system files and applications are typically located.
However, for some users running Windows 11 24H2 and 25H2, the C:\ drive became inaccessible, with reports of the issue occurring around the time of the March Patch Tuesday update. There were also reports following the installation of the February 2026 security update."

Some more OS #shenanigans today: Did an update on the #Bazzite mini pc and it #borked the system. Once logged in the system would freeze.
After some attempts to troubleshoot I installed #PikaOS instead. For all intents and purposes, it runs and looks the same just with a different base.
And on the main pc front if I cannot fix the issues with glitchy gnome apps on #Nobara, I will be moving to another distro soonish. -

The both.org website is down due to a problem with the database. I'm working to rectify the problem, but due to life it will probably take a few hours.
Your patience is appreciated.

So I somehow #borked the headless Mac when I installed the WiFi drivers. By borked I mean I somehow killed the Ethernet connection and had poopy WiFi speeds.
Thus I am gonna try something new… -

MacOS Sequoia has borked SMB connections to Synology NAS. This is a problem if, like me, you use a NAS as storage for a Mac mini (Plex, etc.) server.
There are various suggestions on Reddit that didn’t work for me.
What has worked so far is to replace the nsmb.conf file with this one that was posted on the Plex forums.
It’s also recommended to use AutoMounter app, and to keep a finder window open to the NAS.
