Just north of where the #Boreas flows into the #Hudson. An acquaintance from the western US (where excessive cairn building is causing environmental damage) promised to kick it down if he saw it 😏

Western Toad (#Anaxyrus #boreas) - California subspecies (A. b. #halophilus) - not too far geographically from the type specimen, I mention that because I believe A. boreas is a cryptic species complex.
