Joni and the Sheep
Years ago we took Joni on a few sheep herding sessions to see how she would take to it. As you see, she enjoyed it. We didn't continue with the lessons, though, deciding to stick with frisbees and balls instead. And now she herds cats, which is much more of a challenge. And she can do it in the house.

This was Joni 2, our first border collie, second Joni. Make sense of that if you will. She was a special dog, kinder than most, less obsessive, more devoted than some and very obedient. And so beautiful, as you see. We lost her in October 2012. She left big shoes to fill.

Coinneach showing off at physio today! I haven't been able to get him to do the exercises the others do, he's just not interested, so our physio decided to do something different. This is not a physio exercises, this is just moving, having fun and getting lots of treats (as far as he's concerned anyway 😂). This is actually an exercise Dakota has to do, she finds it really hard but it is so easy for Coinneach!

Managed to get Dakota to pay attention for some search games. First in the concrete tunnel, then among the stack of tyres, then on a tree trunk which had holes in it for hiding treats and then finally on a log! She did pretty well so hopefully it will become easier to get her to focus and pay attention!

Day out to #MontroseAirStationHeritageCentre today 😃 We saw the #Spitfire, rang the bell and found a nice #dog bed in the Station Commanders Office! There's an #AnimalsAtWar exhibit about various animal heroes from Vic a real #WarHorse to Bamse to Winkie the passenger pigeon! We headed along to the new exhibit with the #HawkerHunter and the #Tornado. Fantastic to see it out on display 😃
