  3. The other day I found a _Phidippus_ jumping spider's retreat in some viper's bugloss (_Echium vulgare_). I gently blew on it and the inhabitant promptly came out to investigate. It looked at my finger, then turned around, pooped, and went back inside. OK, fair enough, have a nice day.
