    I've had it before, and it has a lovely ginger tint to it... haven't all the best things?

  4. It's a super smooth coffee (Café) stout for this pre-buffday .
    It's from Salt brewery and it's lush... and just look at that can!

  5. That well-worn chalk writing used to say Glenmorangie, and it's the star of this week's .
    I _think_ it was some sort of special cask, but to be honest it's been around for a while. Either way it's lovely to have on this Sunday afternoon.

  7. It's been an extremely chill weekend. Lounging, minecrafting, bit of football with the kids, and the Transformers One film (which was pretty good).

  8. Next up is the ends of a Glenfiddich, which really smooths out with a splash of water. This is accompanied by Vanessa Paradis' Be my Baby... a song that used to bring me so much joy as a teenager.

  9. It's a whisky run for , starting with this fairly run-of-the-mill 10 year Jura single malt.
    It's made extra special by putting on John Martyn's Small Hours... One helluva track to soak in the bath to.

  10. The water and the bubbles are still incoming for , but I couldn't hold my thoughts on this from Vocation brewery. It's named Aoraki, after a mountain in New Zealand, and is a superb fruity double IPA.
