@jomorespi En principi pots llegir en totes les llengües. La idea era fer-lo servir com a punt d'entrada de molts llibres al format de #bookwrym per tal que la literatura catalana també fos present al fedivers. Però com que tots podem llegir en diverses llengües no hi ha limitació als llibres que llegim. El que sí és escriure els comentaris i ressenyes dels llibres en català.

Voy a ampliar el disco de comelibros.club y sopadeletras.club, ya que llevo semanas recibiendo avisos de Zabbix.
⏳ En 5 minutos reiniciaré el servidor para expandir el disco a 100GB.

@austin I was tracking and agreeing with everything up until the point of still requesting that the bridge be "opt-in". As I see it the bridge should be considered no different than any other #ActivityPub instance/platform. Are we going to start requiring opt-in for every other platform that uses ActivityPub like #Pixelfed or #Bookwrym or #Pleroma ? If people want opt-in then they can be on a #Mastodon instance that doesn't federate with anyone by default.

#Bookwrym and other Fediverse people, I’ve created an account for myself on SFBA’s new server for book lovers. I’ve imported all of my books from Goodreads, and the import worked pretty well once I figured out how to do it. Only 16 books had issues, so I’ll be trying to add those manually.

Realized today is my first #Fediversary! Was not much of a #Twitter user but was drawn to the idea of #ActivityPub and the wider #Fediverse: a radical, decentralized vision of the internet being built from the ground up and for the long-term.
I've spent the most time on #Mastodon but I've also joined #Pixelfed and #Bookwrym too - and I started a couples' account with my spouse (@bunvoyage17).
I've met many wonderful people here - thanks for restoring my faith in the world just a little bit! :D

1. It's the start of a long weekend consisting of four holidays; one down, three more to go.
2. Visited my parents house after two months; will stay here for the next few days.
3. Finally, I moved from #GoodReads to #BookWrym ; all my book reading will be kept recorded in the new place hereafter.

I read a lot, and often find myself wanting to talk about and discuss the books as I read them -- "buddy reads" or group reads.
Is there any good service for arranging this? On the Fediverse or otherwise.
There's @bookwyrm and The Story Graph -- what have you tried?

I've considered migrating my personal home page for quite a while. I've wanted to build everything in #infraascode as a #portfolio too, and a fun exercise, but what implications could be from having that as #oss? (i.e #pulumi state etc)
The idea is I can then easily spin up #microservices (i.e. I'd like to visualize a list of the articles I've been reading on #getpocket or the books I am currently reading via either #goodreads or #Bookwrym). Having it in #iac would make it somewhat trivial.

Diam-diam ingin melihat review seperti: *Bintang 3 dari 5* "Walau konten makalah ini bagus, nada tulisan ini sulit diterima. Saya *sering kali* tidak dapat melihat jelas pola pikir kalimat 'jelas terlihat dari persamaan ...'; apalagi orang awam. Tolong lebih deskriptif dalam penurunan rumus-rumus."

@xemantica no se si conoces https://comelibros.club es una instancia de #Bookwrym donde puedes hacer listados de libros, compartir experiencias, citas y revisiones. De esta forma puedes compartir libros con otra gente y descubrir nuevos libros :3

Can anyone recommend a fedi instance (equivalent of #bookwrym), hashtag, or group (like @bookstodon) for discussing #movies / #films #tv ?
Though now I start to think about it, why should they be separate? (like MS/Apple passion for subdividing folders into Pictures/Videos/Music)
