I've just listened to the audiobook and watched the movie version of The Martian. And although the book was quite hard to follow at times, it was very good. The movie, though? Oh, it's so bad! Probably because that very direct comparison, I watched parts of the movie up until where I was in the book until both where finished, but come on. I understand you have to cut a lot to fit it all in, but still. Bad lines and why was he snacking all the time!? He's supposed to almost starve!
