  1. I’m reading The Bears of Blue River, published in 1908. It’s about white settlers in southern Indiana in 1820. Reading makes me sad about how the landscape has changed. #booksofmastadon #Indiana

  2. Just finished this. I’m late to the party, as usual . Still, it’s worth saying that this is an epic story. It is a story of how an attitude of narrow geographic origin toward natural resources could be so profoundly consequential. Cruelly, heedlessly consequential. The book is a tome, yet it’s a good read. The characters are amazing. If you want to know what we’re up against, the foundational core of it, you’ll find it in this novel.

  3. Mini Review | You and Me on Vacation by Emily Henry

After Book Lovers (which I adored) this was really disappointing. I found annoying characters, it hit all the tropes I hate and worst of all it was boring to read.💀DNF

🤷🏻‍♀️ Baffling sex trafficking plot in what is meant to be a COMEDY!
👎 Author is firmly from the "tell don't show" school.
👎 MC is meant to be 27yr old ex-cop but acts 17.
👎 Alpaca side-kick is false advertising! I want my 99p back!
