My husband discovered the 'cozy' British TV mystery, "BOOKISH," because one of his idols, Mark Gatiss, wrote it and stars in it. Zack soon became bored with the mystery genre pacing, but I've found a new favorite! #markgatiss #bookish #books #sellingbooks #bookselling #bookseller #vintage #period #periodpiece #1940s #england #britain #britainafterthewar #worldwartwo #worldwarII #wwII #devotedcouple #romance #mystery #excitement #interesting #anglophile #anglophilia #london

So, having finished the last run of book selling via app, I've started using another one, BooksRun. I'm rather impressed at what they're taking, I thought with these being the leftovers, they'd reject 9 out of 10, but they're taking a fair number. What's really interesting is that visiting their site, they buy, sell and rent books. They also sell and rent ebooks, which is rather interesting.

>>We mentioned the case of the bookseller in a branch of WH Smith who was asked if there was any Chaucer in stock (April 25). ("I'm sorry", was the reply, "we don't have a crockery department.") But the customer isn't always so very right himself, you know. Rupert Marlow writes from Turnastone in Herefordshire with word of an incident at Hatchards: one day a man, presumably given a shopping list by his wife, walked in and asked for a copy of Night Cream by Elizabeth Arden ...<<
