Today is the annual Men’s bonspiel at our club. This one day, midweek bonspiel is the longest continually held bonspiel in NB. Why midweek? Traditionally, the merchants of St Stephen took Wednesday off and stayed open on weekends, when the farm folk from surrounding towns came to do business. The club has upheld this tradition for over 100 years, stopping only for COVID. 🥌 #curling #bonspiel #history
