Worth mentioning and showing here is the guy in full Katipunero costume that greeted visitors to the sculpture at the Post Office. Don't know who that lady biker is. Pretty sure that's not me.
We all then navigated the crazy, not-bike-friendly streets of Manila and got to the Bonifacio Shrine a.k.a. Kartilya ng Katipunan a.k.a. Heroes Park.

Somebody had #bike trouble and, because we don't leave anyone behind, the rest of us stopped at a convenience store.
Then we visited Pugad Lawin High School in #QuezonCity, and biked all the way to the Monumento rotunda in #CaloocanCity which had been cleared for the day's celebrations. We were allowed to sneak thru because we walked our #bikes and it was still very early.

Meetup was at campus. We rode out around 7AM. ๐ดโโ๏ธ๐ดโโ๏ธ๐ดโโ๏ธ First stop was the #AndresBonifacio statue at the University of the Philippines.
Funny. I never noticed that statue there before. ๐ถ
There were people there setting up for their #BonifacioDay event. They said that they do it every year. What exactly do they do? No idea. We just took some #photos and got out of their way. ๐คช
