  1. Boneworks is such a genius VR Game. What Valve did for game physics with Half Life 2, SLZ did for VR physics with Boneworks. In this game you have full body physics and things actually have a weight so interacting with them feels realistic. It seems the rest of the VR industry still hasn't caught up to this yet.

If you have a VR headset and think you'd enjoy a story game with exploration, physics puzzles and cool lore I'd highly recommend giving this a play.

Btw this is running on Linux through WiVRN (I'm so happy that VR is finally usable on Linux). Sorry for the video quality, had to compress it to get it down to size.

  2. To say I love Boneworks is an understatement. So glad I finally got the soundtrack on my turntable!

Even while typing these lines, it feels like the hands are not part of my body. That feeling is so absolutely weird. :D

  5. Still in the tutorial. Still saying "Wow!" and "this is amazing" quite a lot.

  6. Oh my god #boneworks the #VR game is already amazing, and I haven't even pressed "New Game" yet, I've just been screwing around playing with the physics in the start-game menu-rooom for 20 minutes.

You can put a coffee cup on the end of a crowbar and kinda jiggle it around like spinning plates.

Too much for Quest users, but I can see me wasting all weekend on this now. Easily.

And I haven't even pressed start.

  7. Boneworks review: An absolute VR mess—yet somehow momentous - It's not Half-Life, they keep saying. But maybe Boneworks shouldn't have leaned so freaking heavily... more: arstechnica.com/?p=1631113 #gaming&culture #virtualreality #valveindex #boneworks #half-life #steamvr
