However, close relationships can also lead to #distinct #differences, as K. Tomihara et al. (2026) investigated at the molecular genetic level in the sister species of #silkmoths #Bombyx #mori and #Bombyx #mandarina. According to their findings, a conserved #Wnt family #genecluster is of particular importance, being associated with #morphologicaldivergence.

    Je vous ai pas dit mais on a un élevage de Bombyx 😄
    Ça date d'il y a 3 ans, quand on en a récupéré 3 de l'école de Belette.
    Et après, ben, on va quand même pas tout jeter.
    L'année dernière on n'a quand même pas gardé tous les œufs parce que ça faisait beaucoup mais en tout cas, ce printemps, on a 10 bébêtes.
    5 d'entre elles sont déjà bien grosses.
