Orcus mouth in the Sacro Bosco of #Bomarzo, #Lazio. #Orcus was a god of the underworld in Etruscan and Roman mythology. This sculpture is in the Parco dei Mostri (Park of the Monsters), a 16th century folly garden containing many large and strange stone sculptures. Salvador Dali made a short film about the park which prompted its restoration during the 1970s.
