@Taskerland That's why we need a winged stone edifice from outside of RPGs that we can all rally around.
-
The ship's handsome gargoyle spends too much time hanging around the auto-vendor, eating what was till I painted on it a dollar sign, but is now a mess of pixels, I also deleted some of the vendor's fingers, so I assume that's in the meal as well with the pixelated dollar sign.
Bon Appetit Bok!

@paulbowler You know I have a peculiar fondness for Jon Pertwee as the Doctor. The Daemons was particularly good.

It's almost like the #bokpropaganda on mastodon counts for nothing!

"How do you test search engines Charnock?"
"I check out the first ten results of a carefully selected three letter shibboleth of magical importance and see what they return of interest"

WHAT NO BOK CHRISTMAS SPECIAL???

@BigJackBrass I'm sure there was a reason. Maybe they're trying to find a specific Dr Who Target novel?

*ponders a Bokedel test based on how often characters have a conversation and don't mention Bok*

This is one of the most significant threat arrivals in sci-fi history. Same budget as Avengers: Endgame.

@ombialik write all over the place, tag stuff, post pictures, rage about academia, and generally just enjoy yourself shout at the void for a bit and people will find you. Hop on replies and hashtag stuff*
masto is a slow burn, but because of that you really get to know people.
*hashtagging the one appearance of a Gargoyle in Dr Who in 1970 and then going on it for three years may not be a wholly viable strategy

Now Kera makes me doubt having blorbo with new fanfic atheism approach

I was thinking of doing "Bok tapped to be the next doctor who" april fool newspaper covers, but realised that is actually about the level of the british press regarding news on Doctor Who actors.
-
@BigJackBrass I was going to do that, but I couldn't quite find the joke for it. But when they remake Dr Who with Bok in it, I'll assume that's a tag line on the poster of him coming out of the Tardis.
The poster is currently.. "He's Bok, and it's about time"

This is because so many Northern Irish people are gargoyles.

@aanee I recommend deleting everything except #bokpropaganda to save space.

I can't find anything Bok related today to decorate the internet with, so here for no reason whatsoever is a 1940 OS map of some village called Aldbourne
"oooh the giants grave"

This whole "Moltbook" thing almost had me interested till I realised there was two os in the word.

The exploding helicopter scene in the most popular Dr Who story "The Dæmons" featuring some actors and a handsome gargoyle was actually footage from "From Russia With Love"

Because I got the most sumptuous ever version of Pride and Prejudice, and plan to do one of my "supplements for games that aren't really supplements" posts about it, I'm re-reading the whole thing, and I have to say the Bok score isn't looking very good, however nice the maps of Pemberley are .

Bok should have got a "to-camera" reveal speech, along the lines of Vinnie Jones as Sphinx in Gone in Sixty Seconds. At the very end when they all went to dance at the maypole/go to have pint.

-
Bok's feet are so dangerous they have to be fitted under armed escort by a professional "Gargoyle Cobbler"
-
It is of course Boksing day.
All hail the stone king
The fact I found a picture of Bok in a Box is a testament to how much time I've spent gathering bokanalia. (which is a different festival)
-
Although obviously you cannot hear it here, Bok was unable to sneak up on people without doing the Henry Mancini Pink Panther theme. It was not used in The Daemons because of a rights issue, and was replaced with weird synthesizer noises.
also Rites Issue is a funny concept and should be explored more as a joke.
-
Has anyone noticed the overlap between the Krampus and Bok...
-
These are quite hard to get.
-
True random facts. A copy of "Vampires of the China Coast" has been sitting on my shelf beside me for years and I only just noticed it was written by Bok. You'd think this is the sort of thing I'd notice.
-
One of the problems with having Bok as my blorbo (courtesy of @zozo) is that because his tongue is perpetually out he always looks vaguely horny and all positions look sexual. I was going to put in that this was what "Unlimited Class Wrestling" should actually look like but lets face it, Bok is trying to mount an Eagle from Space 1999 in this image.
*spritzes Bok with water*
"Down!"
-
"Bok mocks the rather unlikely toy find today, a working 1976 Dinky Enterprise which still has its shuttlecraft and some photons"
-
SUNDAY CAPTION BOK
"When they held Doctor Who reunions, Bok often sat by himself, not because he was antisocial or snobby but because they were only actors and he was animated gargoyle from beyond time"
"Bok sat apart from the rest, not because he didn't like them, but because he was simply better"
"Later Bok regretted the red onion sandwiches as the lunch choice"
-
Doing a classic @zozo deep dive, I found out what happened to Arcturus from Curse of Peladon
He never really covered from not getting to be the blorbo.
-
Bok is unimpressed with this Harlequin games Doctor Who Gargoyle figure.
(But would still buy it)
