Imagine what taxing aviation fuel like every other mode of fossil fuel burning transport could achieve…
Seriously, given its contribution to boiling the planet vs the proportion of people that use it, aviation basically shouldn’t exist right now. [Awful effect on normal people who’ve been innocently normalised to it and ended up with families spread across continents notwithstanding… but horrid as that is, it is primarily problem of/for the privileged on a global scale]
