Grete Hermann war eine bedeutende Mathematikerin, Physikerin und Philosophin, die als eine der ersten Emmy Noethers Ideen auf die #Quantenphysik anwandte und dabei auch mit Größen wie Niels #Bohr und Werner #Heisenberg diskutierte. In ihrem Werk von 1935 kritisierte sie fundiert John von Neumanns berühmten Beweis gegen verborgene Variablen und entdeckte darin einen grundlegenden Fehler.

There's a myth that the #Carlsberg brewery built a pipeline carrying beer into Neils #Bohr's home. While Bohr did live in the Carlsberg Honorary Residence after 1932, and did receive free beer when he wanted it, it seems that the "beer pipeline" story is a myth. But it's a great physics story that I remember learning in undergrad!
