after coming home, using a troll with a log to tidy up the path between my dock and my base, I transported all the metal I had in store to the base and crafted some new things. I tidied up my base a bit. Also I now own a set of brand new iron armour 💪 :D

but I ran out of metal real fast, so ... I guess I need to make another trip to the #BogWitch and grab more iron.

I'm not sure what to make of this vanilla style of playing the game yet ... is it annoying and tedious? Or is it more immersive, given I have to take the game much slower, with less inventory space, more boat trips and limited teleporting? Or should I give up the idea of having a central base and build more local bases?

I'm not sure yet what style of going about it suits me. I do enjoy taking things slow though. I'm happy to experiment and experience the latest updates to the game :)

My #valheim quest continued. I accidentally found another elder location, also by water 😂

Since this wasn't what I was looking for, I sailed on.

And without looking for it, I found my very first #BogWitch 🤩 .... How exciting!

After looting the swamp around her, I found another trader, Hildir, very close to it. I built some mini bases up in a tree with a portal close to their locations and sailed on.

I found more locations I wasn't looking for, like two separate Bonemass spawn points. Again, I built a tree house with a portal for later use and sailed on.

It took me 3 IRL days to finally find Haldor and buy a belt and a fishing rod.

Time to sail home, with a ship full of smelted iron. Not without back traveling some to return one of Hildirs chests to her.

I believe this is the first time for me playing vanilla without any mods. I didn't even know quest chests cannot be teleported. This is a whole new experience 😂😂

RPG-playing stoners named after watery mystic in heavy doom album shocker! Chewy fun.
