Emirates instaluje Starlink w całej flocie. Superszybkie Wi-Fi będzie darmowe dla wszystkich

Linie lotnicze Emirates ogłosiły rewolucję w łączności pokładowej. Przewoźnik wprowadzi superszybkie, satelitarne Wi-Fi Starlink do całej swojej floty 232 samolotów – zarówno Boeingów 777, jak i Airbusów A380.

Co najważniejsze, usługa będzie darmowa dla wszystkich pasażerów. To przełomowy krok, który ma wreszcie zapewnić pasażerom „naziemną jakość” internetu podczas lotu, umożliwiając streaming, granie online, a nawet prowadzenie rozmów wideo przez łącze internetowe.

Kiedy start? Już w tym tygodniu

Pierwszy samolot – Boeing 777-300ER (rejestracja A6-EPF) – jest obecnie prezentowany na targach Dubai Airshow. Jego pierwszy komercyjny lot z pasażerami i aktywnym systemem Starlink odbędzie się 23 listopada 2025 roku.

Montaż w Airbusach A380 rozpocznie się w lutym 2026 roku. Emirates planuje modernizować flotę w bardzo szybkim tempie, instalując system w około 14 samolotach miesięcznie.

Darmowe dla wszystkich, bez logowania

Najważniejszą informacją dla pasażerów jest model biznesowy. Emirates potwierdziło, że Wi-Fi Starlink będzie:

• Całkowicie darmowe dla wszystkich pasażerów, niezależnie od klasy podróży.
• Dostępne jednym kliknięciem, bez konieczności rejestracji czy posiadania członkostwa w programie lojalnościowym Skywards.

Linia planuje także udostępnienie przez Starlink telewizji na żywo – początkowo na urządzeniach osobistych, a od końca grudnia 2025 również na ekranach w oparciach foteli. Aby zapewnić wydajność, Boeingi 777 otrzymają dwie anteny Starlink, a Airbusy A380 – jako pierwsze w branży – aż trzy.
