#bodyliberation — Public Fediverse posts

I spent 20 years self-consciously sucking in my stomach despite teaching aerobics & playing sports.

As a petite, I believed my worth came from how I looked in tailored clothes. Then I discovered #naturism

Here's what nobody tells YOU about #BodyLiberation

1. Alone nude? You feel exposed.
2. Everyone nude? You feel normal.
3. Being naked feels REALLY good.

I stopped comparing myself to magazine covers & started appreciating what my body could DO.

My skin soaked up vitamin D. My mind quieted the shame spiral.

This isn't just about clothes. It's about taking back power over YOUR body.

When did you first learn to feel ashamed of your natural self?
