  7. Juggle Jam

#VidADay. What’s a Juggle Jam? A DJ plays some tunes, and the jugglers take turns to jam their best (quick) tricks. Here’s a taster of one from 2006, which I’m not sure has been online before. #juggling

  10. I had 2 memory cards fail on me yesterday, so was reduced to using just the really cheap 2K camera, which I bodged to be affixed to the handle bars. The result isn't fantastic but clearly shows the route from #Bodmin Parkway station to the #CamelTrail youtu.be/EtBQqbuoHbQ

  11. The Eye Well (or Bree Shute Well) in Bodmin—steeped in history and once famed for healing troubled eyes. The name "Bree" comes from the Cornish word for hill.

The water here was once used by locals and even considered “fairly good” by a 19th-century report… though it turned out to be highly contaminated and possibly fatal. Sadly, the water today doesn’t look much better—I certainly wouldn’t fancy a drink!

  16. Stumbled across this cross, known as a Preaching Cross, just east of Bodmin Jail. This tall, wheel-headed cross could date back to the Celtic period, or perhaps the medieval era. The head is marked with an incised Greek Cross: a simple but striking design. A piece of history standing quietly by, witnessing stories from centuries past.
