@jodieturner I was never a sports fan, so it;'s easy for me to be objective. I'm not impressed by #BobbyHull's hockey skills. I'm just disgusted more with a sport that values the game above all else, no matter what the cover-up, the allegations, the sexual or violent abuse, & the tone-deaf leadership in the #NHL
THEY ARE DEFINED BY THEIR SILENCE. Still not a Recognized useful sport, it's always one of the cover-up #sports
Certainly not a sport for Children, taught how to get away with assault -
Bobby Hull was a great hockey player.
He was also a notably unpleasant person to most anyone he didn’t agree with apparently.
He was also a wife beater.
Kudos to CBC for writing this and aside: double kudos for studiously avoiding the name of the Chicago NHL franchise.

Bobby Hull, a Hall-of-Fame hockey player, just died. His son is also in the Hall-of-Fame. 🏒
A rare thing for a parent/child to both achieve greatness like this.
Can you think of any other examples like this? Does NOT have to be in sports. 🤔

RIP #BobbyHull. Bobby was a flawed guy, but no athlete ever had more time for his fans than the Golden Jet. We ran into him fishing in New Brunswick, and he couldn’t have been nicer to my son.
