International Workers Day General Strike
McKeldin Plaza, Friday, May 1 at 03:00 PM EDT
✊️MONEY FOR JOBS AND EDUCATION, NOT FOR WAR AND DEPORTATION✊️
On Friday, May 1, on International Workers Day, march with the Anti-War contingent to stand against the endless wars that the politicians and billionaires wage around the world. They spend billions to bomb elementary schools in Iran, to topple hospitals in Gaza, to kidnap foreign heads of state in Venezuela, to maintain the criminal blockade of Cuba, to commit war crimes wherever they go.
But we have the power to end the rich man's wars! Join the Anti-War contingent to march with others who agree that our money should fund people's needs, not the US war machine.
🗓 Friday, 5/1
⏰️ 2:30PM Community Org Fair
⏰️ 4:00PM Rally (followed by a march)
