BluRemote 1.7.0 is out and finally, hopefully, fixes the macOS widget bug!
Besides that, the widgets are now fully interactive and configurable. For example, if you have multiple players, you now can add separate widgets to control each player individually.

Finally, you can integrate your BluOS player into your automations, e.g. start playing your favorite preset when arriving at home 🎶

After many different issues with Siri not understanding parameters, I think it works better in conversation style like:
User: „Start a preset in BluRemote app”
Siri: „Which number?”
User: „Five”
Siri: „Ok”
Works reliably now and will be the solution for the next release. The same will be available for setting the volume level.
The parameters are still available for automation in shortcuts app.

After many iterations of finding the perfect "now playing" screen, I finally came up with a very clean and focused solution.
It shows only the most important information on first sight, and more meta data can be revealed by clicking the track info texts. The volume control and player selection can be revealed by using the buttons on top.
I really like how reduced it is and can't stop looking at it ;-)
Will be available soon with the next #BluRemote update.

The second review round was successful and the #BluRemote app is now approved by Apple 🎉
Total review time was 32 hours, including one rejection and resubmission. Not bad for the initial app release 👏

And the first round of the App Store Review goes to Apple 🥊
#BluRemote was @rejected because of:
- Guideline 2.1: I have to submit a video of a real iOS device pairing with a real BluOS player
- Guideline 5.2.1: I have to provide documentary evidence that I am allowed to access the BluOS API
To be fair, both points were somehow expected by me. I hoped to get around the video by providing a demo mode. Now crossing fingers for round two :)
