Der schöne Vogel entfaltete seine glänzenden Schwingen, bewegte sie sanft und sang, wie mit tausend Stimmen.

Vier Meter hoch ist das Segelschiff aus Edelstahl, ein Kunstwerk von Cornelia Urban aus Hannover, eines von vielen der Ars-Natura-Stiftung. An seinem Segel wurde in Schreibschriftbuchstaben das obige Zitat von Novalis aus dem Roman “Heinrich von Ofterdingen” angebracht. Die Kunstwerke rund um Gudensberg sind von der “Blauen Blume”, dem literarischen Leitmotiv und der Chiffre der Sehnsucht in Novalis’ besagtem Roman inspiriert und sollen für Wanderer und Radfahrer die Kunst mit der Natur verbinden.
