  5. OK who can solve the mystery of the Texas Bluebonnet. There are two distinct flowers each in a different genus and family that are called Texas Bluebonnet. One is in the genus Lupinus, the other in Gentiana. They look totally different but both have intense blue flowers. The Texas state flower looks to be the one in the Lupine genus. Why is the other also named Texas Bluebonnet?
