I REMIND YOU that three months ago he fired the head of the #BLS (Bureau of Labor Statistics) b/c he refused to believe the bad #jobs numbers were real.

So, if THESE are the numbers the new head is reporting, one can't help but wonder if the "real" numbers are even worse. 🤔

When Trump fired and replaced the head of the Bureau of Labor Statistics, people talked about how faking the numbers is a standard strategy of fascist governments presiding over failing economies, and we should worry about the Trump administration doing this.
Now, the jobs numbers look (frankly suspiciously) good, and the media is reporting them completely credulously, without a peep about the possibility that they might be faked. 🤔
