Another #Blorboversary post cuz I feel like it 👍 something I like about blorbo.social is the fandom focus makes it easy to interact with people outside my circles compared to the stress I sometimes feel in larger platforms, where I might feel too exposed to users who got nothing to do with my interests. Here, even if I don't know or am not active in many of the fandoms being posted about, there's a common nerdy ground and understanding of how to behave thanks to the rules that puts me at ease.

🙌 Discovering through a fandom discussion that maybe praise kink is a real thing ahaha whoops I always thought of it as not really a kink because doesn't everyone think that being showered with praise is hot? Um. ANYWAY.
🤔 Realising that I'm an absolute sucker for anyone who showers me with praise. maybe this is how I've sometimes ended up in relationships that weren't good for me. Self-knowledge is good.

Happy #Blorboversary! I've only been here a few months but it's fun to have tried and continued having a "fandom" account! Makes the compartmentalization monkey in my brain happy.

I'm really glad this server exists. It's been a difficult year for me, and the community here has helped me through some of the rougher spots. It's wonderful to have a spot on the Internet where I feel safe to ramble and vent and talk with friends and, of course, post about my blorbos. ❤️

Actually, I've had an unexpected blorbo revival 🥺 Earlier this year, I found a Gegege no Kitaro movie focused on Kitaro's birth would be released. I wasn't sure how to feel about it because of the character designs... What do you MEAN Kitaro's dad is a tall silver-haired regular hottie now? And what's with this scarred and super cute Mizuki?
